Moravian artist Gail Morris has offered us a beautiful painting to raise monies for the Archives’ C. Daniel Crews Friends Fund this year. “Harvesting the Flax,” a soothing, colorful scene photographed by Old Salem Museums and Gardens and interpreted with their permission by the artist.   More work by the artist can be seen at Senior Services now through November.  The framed 20” x 26” picture will be awarded to the highest bidder. Bids began at our Supporters Appreciation Night and bidding ends 4:30pm, September 30, 2019. The picture is on display in our lobby until then if you’d like to take a look.
