Digital and Audiovisual

In addition to paper-based material in our holdings, we also hold and collect digital and audiovisual records. While our co-tenant, the Moravian Music Foundation, has a significant collection of Moravian music recordings, our audiovisual material often documents church services and events and includes reel-to-reel tapes, audiocassette tapes, vinyl records, CDs, film, videocassette tapes, and DVDs. We also hold microfilm and a small amount of born digital material, meaning computer files sent directly to the Archives for preservation.

We do not currently have the capacity to digitize nor make available digital files of this type of media, but we do hope to offer this in the future.
