Our Local Churches and Fellowships

Sketch of Friedberg Church by Maria Steiner Denke in 1827
These brief histories of each congregation of the Southern Province were part of a year-long series of bulletin inserts produced by Archivists C. Daniel Crews and Richard W. Starbuck in 2002. Coincident with the publication of their history of the Southern Province, With Courage for the Future, the sketches were presented in chronological order beginning with the church at Bethabara. Changes in the number and location of congregations since 2002 are also noted here.
