Graveyard Database

Looking for the location of a grave for an ancestor? Found the grave while on a stroll through God’s Acre but want more information about the person? You have come to the right place! Use our Graveyard Database, embedded below, to search for information about those buried in Moravian graveyards. As a bonus, the memoir index has been cross-referenced with the graveyard index so if we have a memoir available online for the individual, you’ll see that information displayed as well. For more information on navigating the Graveyard Database, scroll below the embedded database.

The most important thing to know about using this Graveyard Database is where to click to search through the records, which is the magnifying glass in the upper righthand corner:

There are scroll bars in the upper righthand corner and in the bottom lefthand corner to scroll up and down or left and right if you want to browse through the records.

You can also use the features available at the top of the database screen to hide fields, filter records, group records, sort records, or change the row height:

For example, you can use the filter feature to limit what you’re looking at based on any of the fields, such as Church Affiliation in this example:

Finally, you can click on the three dots on the bar for the options to download a CSV of the information or print various pages:
