
The Archives Commission has created a fund to raise $20,000 by June 30, 2020. This money will be used to buy new computers and software for the Archives so that we can better access our holdings and communicate them to the public. This Fund is in addition to the Archives need for annual Friends support. Sallie Greenfield, through her Greenfield Ministries Fund, has agreed to match dollar for dollar the first $5000 given to this Fund.

Upgrades Needed
Two reading room computers at 1000 each- $2000
One scanning station computer (upstairs) $1000
Two office computers at 1000 each- $2000
Office furniture for downstairs workstation (chair, lamp, supplies) – $500
One computer image server station (downstairs) with onsite storage backup at $2500-3000
Past Perfect software package $2500 ($1810 initially for cataloging in house plus $588 later for online search ability)
Microsoft Office 2013 should be included in Church license – Office 2019 for $29 more per machine
Adobe Creative Cloud for Archivist future licensing at approx. $250-300 year
Adobe Acrobat full version for Assistant Archivist $59
Total upgrade budget – approximately $12,000

One kiosk with exhibit/display information in lobby area $750
One large screen display with rotating information behind check-in desk $750
One large flat screen display for upstairs use with teaching and lectures in conference room and lecture hall $750
